Soon, Bob and Vern were able to begin delivering forklift fuel to a handful of local commercial accounts. Also around this time, my oldest brother, Bob, joined the company. 

As the company continued to grow over the years with myself and my brother, Rich, now full-time employees, my father suddenly passed away on the last day of 1991. When the dust settled, we had established an ownership group of my brothers, Bob and Rich, my uncle Vern, and myself. My brother Gary joined the group in 1995, with cousins Jason and Matt leading the workforce. With this group in place, Youngstown Propane would grow from a small propane, fireplace, and grill operation to one of the largest independently owned propane companies in Northeast Ohio and Western P.A.

The Fireplace and Patio store would also continue to grow, ultimately leading to a new location in Canfield in 1998, where the business would flourish. The Canfield location is still in operation today as YP Fireplace & Patio on Route 224.
